Weekday getaway

We got to escape to the cabin one afternoon for a few hours of family time. We rode 4-wheelers out to observation point (East Zion) trail head and then we hiked the trail for a while until the kids were tired.
We spent lots of time hunting . . .
For These little guy's.

We got the kids to stop lizard hunting long enough to take a quick photo.
I thought it was a great day for Kory to skip work and hang out with us. We loved spending the weekday with our dad. I wish we could make it a weekly tradition!

I love all your pictures you have posted. I really like the one of you and the kids. Glad you got to escape, have some fun, and stay cool! It's almost been too dang hot to have fun! You're making it look easy :)

Tiff,
Since you aren't the out doors type of people maybe you need to take some lessons from the Wilson family on how to have a real out door experience. Looks like the kids had a good time. I had the same experience with my kids and the scouts when I took them hiking, those dumb little lizards make it hard to complete a hike at a normal pace. Glad your doing good. Glad to have you blogging again.
