With all of this "fantastic" spring weather we have been having, we decided to go fly some kites!

Porter waited patiently for the "Ariel" kite flyer to give him a turn. Ariel kite flyer was not in a hurry to give up without a "flight":) 
Ariel kite flyer was not amused with spider man and his kite flying skills!

Unfortunately spider man and Ariel got tangled and Ariel got stuck on the light pole. Spider man escaped unscathed.

Stupid Spidey sense! Poor Ariel! I'm glad you actually took the kids to do something. I'm blaming the fact that I'm not a cool aunt like that on the lack of transportation for all of them.
Good excuse Mis. Looks like fun. I have a kite that Emmie needs to fly. Why wasn't I invited, oh that's right I don't live in Hurricane so not cool enough. Way to fly kites!
Our kids have been begging to do the same thing. This week it's been howling or not quite enough wind! How does that happen in Hurricane? Cute pics!
That is one perk to the wind in Hurricane, it is always kite flying season here!
